Frequently asked questions

Is the qualification nationally recognised?
Yes. The CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support is delivered by Contour Systems Pty Ltd, RTO 90504, operating as Contour College. The intro course delivers the nationally recognised CHCSS00114 Entry into Care Roles Skill Set.
Do the intro course units count toward the full Certificate III?
Yes — that's the point. HLTINF006 and HLTWHS002 transfer 1:1 into CHC33021, CHCCCS015 is credited toward its current equivalent (CHCCCS031, via credit transfer or a short gap assessment), and HLTAID011 First Aid is recognised across CHC and HLT qualifications. Nothing you study — or pay — is wasted: every dollar paid on the intro course is deducted from your Certificate III price when you continue.
When do I need to complete First Aid?
First Aid must be completed in person before placement can begin. Students are required to complete First Aid at an Australia Wide First Aid location — view available locations here. For Certificate III students, First Aid is arranged by us after the theory component is complete. Intro course students complete their $119 First Aid on the Friday of class week.
How do the payment plans work?
Online Certificate III: $100 per week for 25 weeks — total $2,500, no upfront fee. Intro course: $50 per week for 15 weeks ($750) plus $119 First Aid before placement. Paying in full always costs less overall — and if you continue from the intro course to the Certificate III, everything you’ve already paid is deducted from your Cert III price on either payment option.
What do I need before placement?
Before placement you'll need completed First Aid evidence, a National Police Check, an NDIS Worker Screening Check, a Working with Children Check, and COVID-19 vaccination evidence if required by the placement host, plus your enrolment, payment and identification documents.
Is a job guaranteed at the end?
We provide job-readiness and employment preparation, and our program is built around genuine employment outcomes — but no training provider can guarantee employment, and we don't pretend otherwise.
What if I need to withdraw or transfer?
You can request a transfer between pathways or intake dates (subject to availability and any fee difference). Withdrawals must be submitted in writing; refunds are assessed against services already delivered under our refund policy, with approved refunds processed within 10 business days. Full terms are provided before you enrol.
